Banana Bounce

     1 medium banana                                                                         fractions

1 cup of milk ( soy milk )                                                            standard measure

     1 egg white                                                                                    counting

     1 tbsp. honey

     1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Measure out 1 cup of milk. Pour it into a blender. Add 1 egg white, 1 tbsp. honey and 1 tsp. of cinnamon. Cut the banana in half. You have two equal parts. Each part is called 1/2. Now cut each piece into half again. You now have four equal parts. Each part is called 1/4. Next, cut each of these parts into half. You have eight equal parts. Each part is called 1/8 as it is 1 part out of all 8 parts. Add them into the blender mixture as you count them out loud.

Cap the lid on securely. Discuss safe use of the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. This is a very nutritious snack. It is sure to give you that extra bounce to continue your day.

Note: A variety of fruits can be used. Count out blueberries. Cut strawberries in halves. Slice peaches into sixths.
