Ten Best Things You Can Do with a Banana

(child related only!)

1)      Fruit salad- chop up a banana with other fruit such as strawberries, cantaloupe, melon, apples, oranges, and more.

2)      Banana & Peanut Butter Sandwiches- This is an olde tyme favorite. Slice your banana pieces on the thin side and place them on top of the peanut butter and close the sandwich. For some, this is a terribly gross mixture, and for others this is a wonderful textured taste.

3)      Baby food- Just mush it and serve it.

4)      Banana Shake- Two cups milk, two large scoops of vanilla ice cream, one banana, and one drop vanilla flavoring. Great healthy snack too.

5)      Banana Chips- Dry your thin banana slices for a healthy snack to take on the go! Works great in those food dehydrator machines with other fruit to dry.

6)      Brains in a Blender- A great Halloween touching treat for a Halloween Fun House. Lead players to a dark room where they have to place their hands in bowls of mashed banana, cooked spaghetti, and peeled grapes.

7)     Banana Bread- Great tasting treat. Add walnuts for a crunchy addition.

8)      Frozen Banana chips-for a great cold snack on a hot day.

9)      Jell-O and bananas- great snack with fruit. Dessert anyone?

10)   Science Experiment- Did you ever see a banana rot? I suggest placing the banana on a plate outside and study it over a few days for the full effect.
